Did you ever have the desire to help make the world a better place, but weren’t sure where to start? It can be overwhelming sometimes, when you’re faced with so much need.
For Ford driver, Anton Cobb, a nonprofit was born with giving up a single meal. Anton took a little table, red checkered tablecloth and small chest to a sidewalk and set up shop. A sign nearby reads, “I am skipping lunch, so that 30 children won’t. Will you join me?”
In place of lunch one day a week, Anton collects donations for the Portland, Oregon food bank. He has raised thousands of dollars to date and continues to feed hungry kids in the area, one lunchbreak at a time.
Here at Liberty Ford Brunswick, we salute Anton and all the other people who give up their time, energy and money to help those in need.
We would love to meet you here at our dealership and service center in Brunswick, Ohio, soon.
