When the Ford Fusion debuted in 2012, it was unlike any other midsize sedan we'd seen up until that point. Now, it's become more exciting than ever by adding even more safety and convenience functionality to its already impressive portfolio of technology. In this blog post, we're going to explore some of it.
The main feature we're here to talk about today is the automaker's Stop-and-Go system, available on select models. Using a sensor mounted on the top of the windshield, the 2017 Fusion is capable of monitoring traffic flow, and, once the cruise control component is activated, bringing the car up to a pre-set speed without you needing to touch the gas or the brake. As you can see in the clip above, its quite handy.
