It's pretty common in election years to hear folks talking about reinvesting in America. Yet few companies truly invest in America and American jobs so consistently and effectually as Ford does. This week, Ford announced that it will be investing 1.6 billion dollars across its Ohio and Michigan plants, ensuring 650 jobs and building a strong foundation of production for the models coming out of those facilities.

While other automakers are moving jobs overseas, Ford is planting its feet firmly on American soil. Over the past five years, Ford has invested roughly twelve billion dollars into it's U.S. plants, creating 28,000 jobs over that time. This most recent investment will bring 500 jobs to the Livonia Transmission Plant in Michigan, while providing 150 new positions at the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake.
These new jobs will bring an influx of new talent to the plants, which can only mean good things for the models and parts produced there, including the F-350, F-450, and the transmission for the Ford Mustang.
